The primary objective of the GTA Home Appliance Repair website is that it develops a customer-friendly and hassle-free platform so that customers can easily book for home appliance repair service as well as get enough information about the organization. Mobile responsiveness and intuitive navigation of the website can further increase the engagement and satisfaction level of the customers. The last major objective was a fully functional task management system in the admin panel so that all tasks about repairs are assigned and followed up easily. Some of the features like online appointment booking, service-specific pages, and the customer feedback system chime well with this aim of creating transparency, trust, and high quality in repair services.

Client Requirements

1. Site design and functionality:
  • Clean intuitive design: This will include a well designed user interface with clear essentials on which services are performed, the certifications (TSSA), and customer confidence factors..
  • Mobile friendliness of the device of the user: Testing the website on all devices in full HD to ensure that it is engaging irrespective of any desktops, tablets or smartphones.
  • Distinct service pages: The fridge and air conditioning among other services will have their pages with their descriptions and brief selling points for those.
  • Local SEO Optimization: Engage the local presence of the website by using local SEO techniques such as keyword targeting for different regions in the GTA.
2. Customer Engagement and Booking System:
  • Appointment Booking: The site should have the resource that allows a client to book service appointments online promptly by using BookingPress with an easy appointment.
  • Appointment syncing: An easy and automatic syncing of the booking system of their project management system whenever they assign the tasks to any of their technicians.
  • Live Updates: Auto mails/SMS sent to the customers along with the staff regarding the booked appointments, confirmations, or changes to the booked appointment.
3.Admin Control Panel Requirements:
  • Intuitive Admin Panel: The admin panel should be intuitive so that bookkeeping, updating of service status, and assignment of tasks are all easy for themselves.
  • Task Assignment and Followup: Admin has provision to assign repair jobs to technician along with deadlines and priority level.
  • Upload of Images: Techniques should upload before and after images of the repairs of appliances in their updates in terms of assigned tasks.
  • Detailed Reporting: Come up with statistics of tasks accomplished, pending repairs, customer responses, and performance statistics of the system.
  • Role-Based Access Control: Implement the access control differently for different roles; for example, admin, technician, and customer care.
4. Customer-Friendly Features:
  • TSSA Certification Highlight: You draw attention to the TSSA certification of the repair on gas appliances. Establishing the trust with the prospect customer.
  • Warranty Information: There must be a certain page dedicated to the provision of the warranty terms and coverage for parts and labor, and the process followed for any claims procedure in a clear, step by step process.
  • Feedback and Reviews Section: Provide the customers with an opportunity to give reviews and ratings. It establishes so much more trust and credibility for your company.
  • Transparency in pricing: On service pages, present price upfront and in a readable form so there are no shocks to the customer.

  • Detailed Repair Service Pages: All types of repair services have been given a specific page that holds scope of repairs, common problems, and FAQs so that a customer can make the right choice.

  • Search Engine Optimization: Keywords are added to the website with high-targeted words like “appliance repair in GTA,” “TSSA-certified repairs,” and appliance-specific types. This ensures that this website ranks on search engines, which produce maximum business for the company in the Greater Toronto Area.

2. Booking System and Appointment Synchronizing:
  • BookingPress Integration: BookingPress integrates to schedule repair services straight on a website. It is also entirely integrated into their in-house, internal project management tool, which would automatically route appointments to the technicians based on location, availability, and type of service.

  • Immediate Reminders and Alerts: Post booking by a customer, follow-up emails and SMSs are sent to him for confirmation. This system even reminds the customer just before the scheduled repair, thus minimizing the chances of no-shows appreciably.

3. Admin Interface Features:
  • Task Management Interface: This provides an associated feature of task management on the admin interface. Here, administrators can directly give assignments to perform repair work, set deadlines, and track the progress of each assigned task.

  • Technician image upload facility:  A facility for the technicians to upload images has also been added on the platform. There is a direct documentation of the work done by uploading “before” and “after” photos of the repair work directly from the admin interface for keeping track of accountability and quality control of the administrators

  • Reporting and Analytics: I have designed a dashboard that would provide performance insights like technician productivity, open tasks, customer satisfaction ratings, and daily appointments.

  • Role-Based Access: Have designed the role-based access control system in a way that admins have control on assigning work to any individual whereas technicians can only view assigned work.

4. Customer and Other Features:
  • Mobile Optimization: This website fully bends to mobile responses, enabling the customer to book appointments, give reviews, and navigate services without any frustration on their phones or tablets.

  • Customer Reviews and Feedback: The website has a system of a customer review where the satisfied customers can give rating points to increase social proof and trustworthiness to future customers

  • TSSA Certification Badge: Currently, a TSSA badge is seen on the home page and also on gas appliance service pages. The customers will feel assured to have complete confidence in the quality and safety services that come with gas repairs.
